Blackboard Course Support
How do I...?
The MIT offers free course support services to all USF faculty wishing to learn/utilize specific Blackboard features such as test management, grade book setup, and content organization. Each consultation is usually one to two hours and focuses on specific goals designated by the instructor. The Center for 21st Century Teaching Excellence also offers an extensive array of Blackboard support services including workshops and one-on-one consultations.
Course Consultation
Am I doing this correctly, or might there be a better way?
The MIT offers free faculty consultations to examine your existing Blackboard course and recommend technical solutions, time saving tips, and instructional strategies to enhance the quality of your course. Each session is usually one to two hours
Comprehensive Course Conversion
How do I put my traditional face-to-face course online?
Full course conversion includes instructional consultation and analysis, design, development, and training enabling the faculty member to manage the course once it is deployed. Depending upon the unique needs of each course, a full conversion is usually a four to six-month process.

The Media Innovation Team offers a variety of approaches to course conversion. We tailor our process and tools to redesign traditionally-delivered, face-to-face courses into successful online learning experiences for the teaching and learning community at USF and beyond.
